Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Lyon County, Kentucky. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Full-time, day shift.
