Immediate opening: steel erection rigger (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Lincolnshire, England. You will work on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer £90 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
