Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Live Oak County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Performance bonus on top of base pay.
