Site safety steward — Harrison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Harrison County, Ohio. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
