VRF/VRV installation technician • York County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VRF/VRV installation technician in York County, Pennsylvania. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks You should have: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
