Scaffolding supervisor wanted in Winneshiek County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will be based at a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns You will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
