Gang bricklayer wanted in Real County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Real County, Texas. You will be based at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Part-time with flexible hours.
