Ironing operator wanted in City of Petersburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in City of Petersburg, Virginia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
