Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. The job is at a stone quarry. You will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time, day shift.
