Great opportunity: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Imperial County, California. You will work on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
