Glass and glazing technician — Lake County

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Lake County, California. You will work in a mirror and glass showroom. Your main tasks: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
