Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Wolfe County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
