Immediate opening: slinger signaller (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Bell County, Texas. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
