Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Schoharie County, New York. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Full-time, day shift.
