Great opportunity: system formwork carpenter (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in San Diego County, California. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. You will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
