Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Mercer County, West Virginia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
