We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners You will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
