Window glazier — El Dorado County

Join our team: we are hiring a window glazier in El Dorado County, California. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Your main tasks: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
