Formwork erector • Umuahia North, Abia State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork erector in Umuahia North, Abia State. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Day to day you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure.
