Tailor machinist wanted in Ondo West

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ondo West, Ondo State. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
