Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Essex County, Vermont. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
