Automotive paint technician — Shenandoah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day to day you will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
