Fire and safety officer wanted in Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Clay County, Missouri. You will work on a high-rise building project. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
