Auto-electrical fitter • Isle of Wight County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto-electrical fitter in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy auto electrical workshop. Day to day you will replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches; solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; read wiring diagrams and trace circuits; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults. You should have: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Valid driving licence preferred • Steady hands for soldering fine connections 6+ years on the tools preferred.
