Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Echols County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
