Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Union County, New Jersey. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline On a typical shift you will fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
