Wood machinist wanted in Emmet County

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Emmet County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
