Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. The job is at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
