UPVC door and window fabricator wanted in Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Shelby County, Iowa. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On a typical shift you will wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Requirements: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Six days a week, one day off.
