Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Plymouth, England. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
