What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift.
