Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Hale County, Texas. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
