Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Your main tasks: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Rotating shifts.
