Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
