Urgent requirement: rebar installer (Connecticut)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar installer in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
