Urgent requirement: trowel-trade bricklayer (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Rotating shifts.
