We are recruiting: steel erection rigger (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Waller County, Texas. You will work at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
