Steel fixer • Waldo County, Maine

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Waldo County, Maine. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
