Immediate opening: brick mason (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Loudon County, Tennessee. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 5+ years on the tools preferred.
