Steel fixer wanted in Colorado County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Colorado County, Texas. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts.
