Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Marion County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
