Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Igalamela-Odolu, Kogi State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists We offer ₦160,000 per month plus benefits.
