Sheet metal welder — Navajo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Navajo County, Arizona. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
