Great opportunity: we are hiring a smash repairer in Clay County, Indiana. The job is at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop On a typical shift you will pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $6,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
