Landscape gardener — Petersburg Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day-to-day duties: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
