We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Pender County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
