The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
