Steel fixer — Grand Forks County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Part-time with flexible hours.
