Aluminium TIG welder — Sarasota County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Sarasota County, Florida. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
