Join our team: we are hiring a trailer driver in New Kent County, Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing On a typical shift you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels.
